Linda Rogers, 72, of Diana, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 13th at the age of 72. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed many summers camping with them at Camp Albert Pike, Arkansas. Linda had the heart of a servant and always wanted the best for her children. She showed this by working and volunteering for numerous groups and organizations including Campfire, Pine Tree Schools and New Diana Band. She was the children�s director at Calvary Baptist and Greggton First Baptist Church in Longview for a number of years. She worked with GA�s and RA�s and organized a number of trips for them. In later years she was an active member of East Texas Trail Riders Unlimited and enjoyed traveling with her children and their families. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Harold Rogers; son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Janis Rogers of Coppell, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Wes Lacy of Hallsville and Sarah and Chad Lawhorn of Diana; sisters Dorothy Seagraves of Casper, WY, Irma Sneed of Eldorado, AR and Karen Miller of Eldorado, AR; grandchildren, Hollis Rogers, Hollee Rogers, Hunter Lacy, Trevin Hazel and Landon Lacy. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home - Diana. A memorial service will be held at a later date Family request memorials be made to the Windridge Equestrian Therapeutic Center, P.O. Box 5932, Longview, TX 75608.
