Nellie Ruth Warren, 76, of Ore City, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in Longview. Graveside services are scheduled for 10AM, Friday, July 16, 2021 at Walnut Creek Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Norvell Officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral home in Diana,
Nellie was born July 24, 1944 to Claude Lee and Romer May (Hubbard) Evans in Gilmer, Texas. She was a homemaker that enjoyed drawing, sewing, poetry and spending time with her family. She was a long-time member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Ore City.
She is survived by her daughters; Lora Flores, Bula Henderson, Connie Whittenburg, Nelda Williams, sister, Joyce Marie McDowell, nine grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond Warren, sons; William Herd, Dennis Henderson, brothers, Royce Lee Evans and Billy Joe Evans.
