Marcia Lee Cantrell

Marcia Cantrell, 75, was born June 3, 1945 in Marshall, Texas to A.J. “Al” and Billie Lee (Pyland) Sperier. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Longview, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Marcia graduated from New Diana High School in 1963. She sold advertising for a Longview newspaper and radio station for many years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening with her husband Jim for many years. She was a wonderful cook. Marcia was active in her church’s VBS and Awana programs which she loved sharing with her grandchildren. She was the most patient caregiver. She lovingly took care of both of her parents for many years.

Marcia is survived by her daughter Leean Propes and husband Dan, sons; Steven Duke and wife Lauretta, Stewart Duke, Jason Cantrell and wife Tracy, brother, Pat Sperier and wife Glenda, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lisa Marie Duke brother Mike Sperier, and loving husband Jim Cantrell.
