Mabel Maxine Chapman

DIANA: Memorial services for Mabel Chapman, 90, of Ore City will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church, with Pastor Richard Jones officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. She passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Longview, Texas.

Mabel was born April 10, 1928, in Pittsburg, PA. She as a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Ore City and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked at many jobs, including phone operator, teacher and hospital worker.

Mabel is survived by her son: David W. Burns, daughter: Daryle L. Reed, one nephew: Robert Doeer, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Houston Leon Chapman.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorable donations be made to Cedar Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 357, Ore City, Texas.
