Jim Bob Carver

Memorial services for Mr. Jim Bob Carver, 69, of Diana, are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana, with Bro. Edgar Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Carver passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at his home.
Jim Bob was born in Ashdown, Arkansas on July 7, 1948 to the late George Hayes Carver and Tressie Griffin Carver. He served honorably in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper and infantryman during Vietnam. Jim enjoyed lifting weights, travelling with his family, spoiling his children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Heichelheim and husband Danny of Diana, Stephanie Neipling and husband Chad of Rogers, AR; brother, George "Buck" Carver and wife Sara of Weatherford; sister, Margie McDowell and husband Bobby of Texarkana, AR.; grandchildren, Dalton Heichelheim, Shelby Harvey, Baylor Heichelheim, Chevi Flournoy, Addison "AJ" Flournoy, Kinsey Lade, Graham Neipling, Hendrix Neipling, Noah Heichelheim, and Keegan Heichelheim.
Jim Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Mary Ann Carver.
