Frank Howell

Graveside services for Frank Howell, 87, will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Mattox Cemetery in Diana. Mr. Howell passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in Gilmer.
Frank was born July 2, 1933, in Willis Point, Texas, to Willie and Doris Howell. He and his wife, Ruth, lived in Rusk for many years. Frank was a real estate agent for homes and property. He was also an active part of his community serving in the Lion's Club, the Rusk Civic Theatre and as the President of the Chamber of Commerce. Frank was a member of the Euclid Masonic Lodge #45 in Rusk, and was a Shriner. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Simms Howell.
Frank is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Bobby Crawford; a brother, Jerry Howell, brother-in-law, Billy Stegall; a grandson, Cordell Crawford and numerous nieces and nephews.
