DIANA: Memorial services for Floyd �Peck� Pendarvis, 86, formerly of Diana will be at 7:00 P.M., June 2, 2016 at New Life Assembly of God Church in Ore City, with Brother James Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. He passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Floyd was born February 3, 1930 in Moselle, Mississippi to William and Arnthia Pendarvis. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a POW in Korea for 37 months. He received the Purple Heart for his service to his country. Floyd later worked as a supervisor in the oil field. He is survived by his loving wife: Glenda Chastain Pendarvis, son: Earl Spears, daughter: Vicky Spears, step-son: Johnny Fenlaw, step-daughters: Vicki and husband Randy Hall, Gail and husband Bobby Livingston, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Billie Pendarvis, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Please leave online condolences at www.grubbsloydfhdiana.com
