Doris Jean Williams

Doris Williams, 90, of Richmond, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2022 at her residence. Memorial services will be held at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Diana on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Kenneth Antley officiating.

Doris was born on March 17, 1931 in Dallas, Texas to Howard and Edna Peeler. She later married her husband Thomas and worked in the retail industry for many years. She attended fellowship meetings at New Horizon Church of God in Longview. Doris enjoyed playing Yahtzee and a good game of 42 almost as much as she loved rooting for any Texas sport, especially the Rangers and Cowboys. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

Doris is survived by her daughter: Debbie Popp and son-n-law Mark Sr., son: Robert Reynolds and wife Beth, as well as 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Deana Hardcastle, and brother: TR Peeler.
