Donnie Sims DIANA � Memorial services for Donnie Sims, 64, of Diana will be 10:00 A.M., March 11, 2015 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Diana, with Brother Lance Sims and Brother Gary Hill officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Walnut Creek Cemetery. He passed away March 8, 2015. Donnie was born August 1, 1950 in Tacoma, Washington to Bill and Frankie Sims. He worked in transportation for the Department of Defense and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Sims. Donnie is survived by his mother, Frankie Sims, son: Walton W. and wife Amy Michelle Sims, daughter: Amy DeAnn Sims, brothers: Larry Sims, Bobby Sims, Richard Sims and Danny Sims, sister: Lou Ann Wright, grandchildren: Tristan Richardson, Tessa Richardson and Cooper Sims and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. .
