Donald Elliott Myron DIANA �Memorial services for Donald Elliott Myron, 90, of Jefferson, will be at 11:00 A.M., January 30, 2016 at Harleton United Methodist Church, with Reverend Kate Turner and Pastor Joe Turner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. He passed away January 23, 2016 at his residence. Donald was born December 17, 1925 in Vermillion, South Dakota to Eling and Anna Myron. He served in the U.S. Army/Air Force from 1944 to 1946, and later worked at Trinity Industries and Alcoa Aluminum. He had obtained his pilot�s license and enjoyed flying small engine planes. Donald also obtained his license for amateur radio operator. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Joyce Marie Myron, sons and daughters-in-law: Mark and Patti Myron of Shreveport, LA, Paul Myron of Austin, TX, and Kurt and Darlene Myron of Mont Belvieu, TX, grandchildren: Neil Myron and fianc�e Ashley Pickard, Joshua Myron & wife Terrah, Stephanie Woosley & husband Robert, Crystal Heller & husband Matt, and Dean Myron, great-grandchildren: Bryson and Paxton Woosley, Addie and Brennan Myron, Michael and Kacie Heller. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Rhonda Myron and sister Dorothy Golden.
