Clyde Lee Whitlock

Clyde Lee Whitlock, 70, of Diana, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in Longview, Texas.

Clyde was born November 29, 1951, in Gladewater, Texas, to St. Elmo Elmer and Willie Frances Whitlock. He attended schools and some college, then served his country in the Army in the Vietnam War. Clyde later went to work for Stroh's in Longview. He married Ronda Ann Wilson on May 2, 1980, in Brownsboro, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Ronda Whitlock; children, Cary Lee Whitlock and wife, Heather, Crystal LeeAnn Barefield and husband, Matt, Cherry Lynn Warren, Christopher Lee Whitlock and wife, Dainelle, Brittany Rachelle Oliver and husband, William; a brother, Frankie Whitlock; and grandchildren, Makayla Attaway, Jaxon Barefield, Kristian Barefield, Chandler Crawford, Carter Whitlock, Allie Whitmore, Atticus Whitmore, Embry Whitlock, Hunter Oliver and Kadence Oliver.

Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel in Diana, with Brother Laney Pearson officiating. A visitation period will be held prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
