Cleve Sexton

Cleve Sexton, 30, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at his residence. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 7, 2022, 6-8 PM, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Cleve was born on February 16, 1992, in Longview, Texas to Shane and Kelly Sexton. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and worked as a surgical tech at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Cleve was a dedicated Cowboys fan and loved all kinds of sports. He also loved his family and his pets. He was of the Baptist faith.

Cleve is survived by his father, Shane Sexton and wife Sherry; mother, Kelly Adams and husband Les; sisters, Tiffany Adcock and husband, Jeffry, Carrie Orms and husband Travis; brothers: Rod Grigsby, Jr. and wife Dancel, Thomas Grigsby, Brent Adams-Loving and wife, Meaghan; grandmothers: Ramona Sexton and Florence Gamble; aunt: Kathy Baumgardner and husband Les; nieces and nephews: Logan, Mylie, Cooper, Julia, Paisley, Presley, Christopher, Connor, Trevor, Maggie and Rhett; special niece, Hallie Adcock and numerous other family members.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Wayne Waggoner and JoAnn Wright and uncle Rusty Waggoner.
