Gilmer -- Services for Winfred Eugene Pittman, Jr., 54, of Palestine, Texas, will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015, at 1 P.M. at the Enon Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne Norvelll. officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer with Reverend Ray Thompson officiating. Born on July 10, 1961, in Brownwood, Texas, he died on Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was a minister. He is survived by his parents, David and Sandra Lewton of Gilmer; step-mother, Theresa Pittman of Wills Point; son, Troy Wayne Dickert and wife, Melissa, of Bryan; 1 grandchild, Faith Dickert; 2 brothers, Kindale Pittman and wife, Keri, of Plano; Steven Pittman and wife, Sharon, of College Station; 3 sisters, Denise Ramsey and husband, Michael, of Quinlan; Tiffany Steadmon and husband, Kirk, of Lyons, Colorado; Sheila Brown and husband, Darrell, of Wills Point; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Winfred E. Pittman, Sr. The family will receive friends from noon until the service time at the Enon Baptist Church.
