Willie Ree "Marie" Brown

DIANA Services for Marie Brown, 81, of Diana will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Diana. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Reed Cemetery. She passed away March 21, 2014.
Marie was born January 16, 1933 in New Boston to John Dow and Floy Burns. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Diana for many years.
Marie is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Michael Brown of Georgetown, Mark Brown of Dallas, Gerald Susan Brown of Longview, Kim Brown of Diana and Philip Brown of Diana, siblings: Homer Burns, Mary Bostian, Henry Burns, Dow Burns, Dorothy Smith, Rosie Shirley, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Brown and siblings: Curtis Burns, John Burns, J.D. Burns, Woodrow Burns and Lyn Burns.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
