William Pat Hearon

October 21, 1950 — November 23, 2021

William Pat Hearon, born in Dallas on October 21, 1950, passed away in his home on November 23, 2021 at the age of 71 years. He and his family were residents of Diana, TX for the last 36 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William B. Hearon and Florence E. Hearon. He is survived by his wife, Peaches, who was the love of his life for 38 years, his children Jason Hearon, Chris Beck and wife Laccie, Susan Hearon, Jennifer Beck and husband Nick Goen, Jonathan Beck and wife Jasmin. He has 19 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many others who he considered “one of his own”.
Pat was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He considered his family to be his greatest blessing in life, and he especially loved being “Pawpaw”. Pat spent many years coaching youth football and baseball in Diana, where he helped to shape many young lives. He loved being outdoors, camping, hunting, and especially fishing. He could tell a “tall tale” like no other. He was an excellent cook, and loved to feed people. Pat never needed a reason to have a cook-out with his family.
He worked as a Police Officer for a number of years, and then pursued a career as an Insurance Adjuster for the last 37 years, where he made many lifelong friends. He had such a kind, caring, and pure soul. He was good at heart, and always put others before himself. Making sure everyone surrounding him was happy and content, was one of his biggest priorities.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church in Ore City, with Reverend Tony Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, December 3, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home.
