Weldon Duane Gould

August 3, 1936 — October 4, 2014

Diana � Weldon Duane Gould was born on August 3, 1936, in Durant, Oklahoma. He was born to Fred Gould and Nima Brown. He grew up in Galveston, Texas, where he met Jean Carolyn Foster. They married on April 29, 1960. They had two daughters, Robin DuAnne and Kimberly Suzanne. Duane worked for Martin Linen Company in Houston as a route salesman for most of his career. He was an excellent salesman, being top salesman monthly. Before retiring, he worked as a security guard, at Marq*E Entertainment Center. One of his favorite things was being a volunteer at the Houston Food Bank. He always said, �It made him feel like a million bucks�. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean in November 1997. He leaves behind his daughter and son-in-law, Robin DuAnne and Joe Allen, his daughter Kim Copus and his granddaughter Samantha Copus. Grandchildren: Nikki and Victor Padilla, Cyni, Cecilia and Mason Osborne, Josh, Lindsey, Cameran and Haley Allen, Shaun Allen and Jessica Cheatham. He will be greatly missed, but remembered for his beautiful blue eyes, big smile and kind spirit. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Fairview Healthcare, in Fairfield, Texas, for the devotion in caring for their father. A private family burial will be held at Ashland Cemetery in Diana, Texas.
