Waylon S. Morgan DIANA �Services for Waylon S. Morgan, 81, of Ore City will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Ore City United Methodist Church, with Reverend Doug Smith and Reverend David Williamson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Coffeeville Cemetery. He passed away January 31, 2016 in Longview. Waylon was born February 13, 1934 in Coffeeville, Texas to James Howard and Lela Geneva Morgan. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked at Lone Star Steel for 20 years. Waylon was one of the owners of Steel Country Threaders from 1981 until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of the Ore City Masonic Lodge, Waco - Scottish Rite and a member of Ore City United Methodist Church. Waylon is survived by his loving wife; Dottie Morgan, sons and daughters-in-law; Stewart and Sherry Morgan of Ore City, Steve and Marsha Morgan of Ft. Worth, and John Morgan of Bossier City, LA., grandchildren; Josh Morgan and wife Nicki of Ben Brook, Sean Morgan and wife Ashley of Ore City, Holly Morgan Martinez of Longview, Jamie Morgan Farmer and husband Kenneth of Ft. Worth, Megan Morgan of Bossier City, LA and Courtney Coffman of Bossier City, LA, great-grandchildren; Levi Morgan,, Luke Morgan, Callie Morgan, Kellan Morgan, Kinsley Farmer, Cooper Martinez, and Cameron Martinez, sister; Dora Lattimore and husband Larry, brothers; James H. Morgan and Bobby H. Morgan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Please leave online condolences at www.grubbsloydfhdiana.com
