Obituary for Virginia "Jenny" Grubbs
Graveside services for Virginia �Jenny� Grubbs, 59, of Gilmer will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2015 at Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County with Peter John Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County. Mrs. Grubbs passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, in a Longview hospital. Jenny was born February 8, 1956, in Palestine, Texas to Selman and Neva Grodier McNew. She was a retired LVN and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her sons, Corbin Yardley Grubbs of Gilmer, Brandon Ryan Grubbs of Gilmer and Clark Reed Grubbs and wife, Lindsey of Gilmer; father, Selman McNew; brothers, Shane McNew of Utah and Daniel McNew of Longview; sister, Kathy Crystal of Idaho; and grandson, Kody Lane Grubbs. Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Grubbs, June 21, 2013; mother, Neva McNew; and sister, Karen Panell. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
