DIANA �Services for Tommy Lee Stanley, 61, of Ore City will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 18, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church in Ore City, with Brother Tony Pierce officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Sand Hill Cemetery. He passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 in Longview. Tommy was born May 15, 1954 to Billy Wayne and Myrtle Lee Stanley. He was owner/operator at Tommy Stanley Dirtwork. In 1990, he was elected as Pct. 2 commissioner for Upshur County and served for three terms until 2002. Tommy was of the Baptist faith. His greatest loves were his grandchildren and motorcycles. He is survived by his father: Billy Wayne Stanley, sons and daughter-in-law: Timmy and Carmelita Stanley and Tommy Stanley, Jr., sisters and brother-in-law: Carolyn and Joey Stroman, Janet Stanley and Mary Fell, grandchildren: Dakota Pieratt and wife Alexa, Kennedy Stanley, Hayden Stanley and Blake Stanley, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed by many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother: Myrtle Stanley, brother: Johnny Stanley and sister: Judy McClendon. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, March 17, 2016, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Please leave online condolences at www.grubbsloydfhdiana.com
