Thomas Patrick Lyons DIANA �Graveside services for Thomas Patrick Lyons, 74, of Diana will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Mattox Cemetery in Diana, with Pastor Mark Huffhines and Tim Lyons officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. He passed away September 18, 2015 in Longview. Tom was born January 20, 1941 in Bronx, New York to Joseph Augustus and Ester Mary Lyons. He was a retired welder and member of the Church of Power. Tom was a member of the American Legion and a first generation American. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Tom is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Tim and Dorinda Lyons of Diana, daughters and sons-in-law: Kellie and Kelly Cox of Atlanta and Colleen and John Parker of Longview, brother: John Lyons of New York, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Joseph and Charles Lyons. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
