GILMER � Memorial Services for Ricky Lee Byrns, 60, of Gilmer, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 29, at First Assembly of God in Marshall with Rev. Mike Richard officiating under the direction of Grubbs- Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Byrns passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013, at his home in Gilmer. Mr. Byrns was born on July 31, 1953, in Wilburn, Arkansas to Richard and Bobbye Byrns. He lived for many years in Marshall, Tx. Mr. Byrns was a long time welder and a successful race car driver. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Mickey Byrns and Chris Byrns. He is survived by his parents Richard and Bobbye Byrns of Gilmer, his son Doug Byrns of Dallas Tx, daughters, Tobie Wilburn of Sugarland Tx and Dana Ingram of Huntsville Tx, and grandchildren, Cameron, Kaleb, Peyton, and Kolbe. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chad McGill, Brian Ingram, Steven McCoy, Johnny Vess, John House, Gary Shoemaker, Wes Grigsby, Kenny Grigsby, Mark Oney, Mark Bullock, Chris Wilburn, Chester Downy, and David Weir.
