Lowell Loyce Hearn

Lowell Loyce Hearn DIANA �Lowell L. Hearn was born January 18, 1956 in Lone Star, Texas to Rufus and Ferby Ann Hearn. He died on August 30, 2014 after a lengthy, but courageous struggle with liver failure. Lowell was preceded in death by his father in 1987 and mother in 2000. He is survived by his three brothers, Curtis Hearn, Ronald Hearn and Casey Hearn of Ore City. The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to the staff of Lufkin State Supported Living Center, where Lowell spent the last 19 years of his life. In particular, the family is grateful to the doctors, nurses and caregivers of the LSSLC Infirmary and Home 559B, and in his final days the Hospice In The Pines in Lufkin. It was due to the efforts of these noble, hard-working people that Lowell endured and exceeded expectations. A graveside service will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Ashland Cemetery in Diana under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home of Diana.
