Kenneth Ray Burks

Graveside Services for Kenneth Ray Burks, 70, of Diana, will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the Kilgore City Cemetery with Brother Chad McEntee officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, October 20, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Mr. Burks passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2018, at home.
Kenneth was born on July 21, 1948, in Gladewater, Texas, to Elbert D. and Nazarine Burks. He worked for many years at Eastman as an operator and supervisor. He married his wife Janie Goodwin Burks on January 18, 1967, in Oil City, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Lucille Vickery. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Nazarine Burks; his wife, Janie Burks; son, Michael Burks, and wife, Shonda; and two grandchildren, Dalton Burks and Hannah Walsh.
