Joy �NaNa� Stanford GILMER � Mrs. Stanford was born February 14, 1935 to Sylvester and Emma Gertrude Stone Kindle. Mrs. Stanford was an Army housewife for 21 years, then a mother, housewife and NaNa. Joy�s love of family and friends was only surpassed by her deep Christian faith. She was a long time member of Faith Baptist Church. The Dallas Cowboys have lost one of their most devoted fans. You never talked bad about her Cowboys, or you got �The Look�. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Murl Kindle and sister, Helen Kindle and son-in-law, Mark �Slim� Jobe. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Wayne Stanford; 6 children: Wayne Stanford, Jr. and wife, Linda of Lampasas, Debra Morgan and husband, Johnny of Gladewater, Pam Kelly and husband, Don of Gilmer, Cindy Williams, and husband, Bobby of Longview, Brenda Jobe of White Oak and Billy Stanford of New York. She is also survived by grandchildren: Jeremy Wilkins, Dana Henson, Kim Mayhan, Adam Stanford, Larry Morgan, Brandy Stanford, Kasia Kelly, Ryan Kelly, Joe and Zeth Stanford, Hunter Jobe, and 20 great grandchildren. Services will be held 2 PM Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Othell Laferney officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 6, from 6 to 8 PM at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home. Memorials may be left online at www.grubbsloydfh.com.
