Josephine Elizabeth Harrison

GILMER � Josephine Harrison went to be with her Lord on March 26, 2012. She was born September 23, 1934 to Harvey and Margaret Woodard in Cisco, TX, where she lived most of her life until meeting her love, C.C. Harrison in 1950. Together they had seven children that she devoted her life and love to raising. She was preceded in death by loving husband of 58 years: C.C. Harrison; an infant son; her parents Harvey and Margaret Woodard, two brothers: Kenneth and Joe; and two sisters: Lorraine and Sylvia. She is survived by her four Daughters and Sons-in-law: Josephine and Gerald Tave of Texarkana, JuaNita Harrison of Longview, Jeannie and Danny Stone of Gilmer, Jolene and Allan Parrish of Gilmer; Three Sons and one daughter-in-law: Mike and Melissa Harrison of Carthage, Cleveland Harrison of Gilmer and Harvey Harrison of Gilmer; and one grandson she raised like a son, Gary Harrison; sister: Marie Teller of Bellview, KS; Sister-In-Law: Gracie Woodard of Kansas; 20 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren and many family and friends. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 100 W. Hawkins Pkwy, Longview, TX 75605 or the Alzheimer�s Association.
