Gilmer -- Graveside services for James Grover McCarver, 64, of Gilmer, will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at 11 A.M. at Rosewood Park Cemetery in Longview with Sister Cindy McCarver officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Born on August 6, 1951, in Teneha, Texas, to James Oscar and Bonnie Mae McCarver, he died on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He was a welder/contractor and a Baptist. He was preceded id death by his parents and a special fried who was a brother to him, Mark Swanson. He is survived by his wife, Joan Jones McCarver; three sons, Tommy Anthony, Mark Anthony, and Michael McCellon; two daughters, Sandra Anthony and Crystal McCellon; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Cynthia McCarver; niece and nephew, Tawnny and Benjamin Swanson.
