Jackie Ray Bush DIANA �Memorial services for Jackie Ray Bush, 69, of Diana will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Diana, with Reverend Gary May officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. On May 19, 2013, he passed from this life into his heavenly home. Jack was born September 1, 1943 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to George W. & Elsie Bush. He was a self-employed metal fabricator and a member of First Baptist Church of Diana. He spent most of his life as an accomplished musician and was the band leader at the Hayloft Saturday Night Show as the steel guitar player. Jack loved his family more than words could ever express. He leaves a legacy of taking responsibility and high standards that he set for himself. Jack is survived by his wife of 25 years: Shirley Bush of Diana, daughter & son-in-law: Anita & Chris Sanchez of Coweta, OK, sons & daughters-in-law: Scott Bush of San Diego, CA, Ricky Bates and Melody Barnes of Longview, Randy & Sheri Bates of Diana, and Rodney Bates of Diana, brother & sister-in-law: Bob & Theresa Bush of Tyro, KS., sister-in-law: Patsy Bush of Coffeyville, KS, 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of good friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Louise Bush, his parents, sons: Dean Bush, James Bush and Ronnie Bates, granddaughter: Laurie Bates, grandson: Bobby Campbell, brother: Carl Bush and sisters: Mary Cunningham and Georgia Briggs. Jack was a special man that Shirley knew and many never got to recognize as that one of a kind husband and father. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, 1 to 2 P.M. prior to the memorial service at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Beacon Hospice at Margaret�s House, 5016 Gilmer Rd., Longview, Texas 75605. Rest in peace Jack and our loss here is Heaven�s gain.
