Harry Kevin Koerber, III., age 62 of Ore City, Texas passed away suddenly at his home, on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Kevin was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on July 4, 1958, to the late Harry Koerber, Jr., and Ethel Marie Long Koerber. Raised in Paden City, where he graduated from Paden City High School Class of ‘76', he attended college at West Virginia Northern Community College. He worked for many years at Corning Glassworks in Paden City, WV and eventually worked in the Wal-Mart Photo Lab for 21 years in New Martinsville, West Virginia and recently in the Electronics/Photo Lab in Gilmer, Texas. He was a talented songwriter, musician, and photographer. He was a producer at “Fade to Black” and operated the Podcast-“Night Shift Talk”. Kevin loved people and no one remained a stranger for long. He was proud to be living in his new home state of Texas. Kevin loved his church family at Graceton Church of Christ.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Koerber-Timmons, and husband Donnie of Ore City, TX; nephews, Byron Timmons and wife Minde of Nacogdoches, TX, Collin Timmons of Garrison, TX; numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home of Diana, TX.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Graceton Church of Christ, at 384 Lazy Daisy Lane, Gilmer, TX 75645. Graceton Church of Christ Minister, Scott Dykowski, will officiate the Memorial.
