Gary W. Hill DIANA �Gary W. Hill, 67, of Diana, Texas, loving dad and grandfather, peacefully went home to be with his Lord on November 19, 2015. Gary retired from LSS. He was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church and became a minister of the Lord in his later years, serving several churches throughout the East Texas community. He enjoyed singing, all sports and visiting with other members of the veterans group in Longview. Gary was born March 19, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD to Ernest and Lorraine Hill. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Brenda Faye Hill, daughter Lorrie and her husband Michael Landrum of Houston and daughter Tammy and her husband Milton Murillo of Longview. Gary is also survived by his siblings, Jim Hill, Ernie �Bub� Hill and Kathy Hill Bogy, all from Shreveport, LA. He is survived by 6 grandchildren: Faith, Hope, Tuff, Bryan, Allyson and Charity, one great-grandchild: Aubrey, numerous nieces and nephews and mother-in-law: Georgia Faye Cargil of Diana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lorraine Hill and his father-in-law: Bryant M. Cargil of Diana. Gary was a U.S. Marine and was stationed at Naval Ammunition Depot, Hawthorn, NV. He served 2 tours in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. The family wishes to thank HeartsWay Hospice of Longview and Dr. Larry Frase and his staff for their dedication and care. Visitation will be Sunday, November 22, 2015, 3-5 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Diana. Brothers Berkley Boyd and Marvin Dennison will officiate services at Walnut Creek Baptist Church, Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Military interment will follow at Ashland Cemetery in Diana.
