Erman Orville Bright

Erman Orville �Step� Bright, Jr., 77, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Beacon Hospice at Margaret�s House in Spring Hill. He was a master carpenter, Shriner, and Mason. He worked for Noah�s Construction for twenty years. Memorial services for Step will be Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 11:00 A.M. at Pine Tree Masonic Hall in Longview, Texas with James and Janis Pepper officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erman O. Bright, Sr. and Annie Lucille Bright; two brothers, two sisters, and a brother-in-law. He is survived by his wife, Sue of Avinger; seven children: Linda (Don) Hardin of Houston, Lalia Bright of Phoenix, Az; Mary ( Joe) Chambers of Ponca City, OK.; Richard (Lori) Bright of Stillwater, OK; Cherie (Glen) Camron of Longview, Jack Rogers of Dallas; and Tammy Lemons (fianc� Reimus) of Dallas; one sister: Sheryl (Bryan) England of Hope, AR; and one sister-in-law: Marjie Glover of Longview; 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2011, 6-9 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607 or Beacon Hospice at Margaret�s House, 5016 Gilmer Rd., Longview, Texas 75604.
