Eloise Patterson DIANA �Services for Eloise Patterson, 80, of Diana will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Ore City Church of Christ, in Ore City, with Johnny Coleman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Mattox Cemetery in Diana. She passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her home after a lengthy illness. Eloise was born April 29, 1932 in DeSoto Parrish, Louisiana to Thomas B.and Georgia Lee Palmer. She was a loving, caring person and a faithful member of the Ore City Church of Christ. Eloise was an artist and seamstress who also enjoyed traveling all over the world with her husband. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sandra Patterson and son Steve Patterson. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bill Patterson, sisters: Virginia Bates & husband Tommy of Mansfield, La., Jeanette Smith & husband Milton of Logansport, La., Sunshine Spielvogle & husband Ken of Hot Springs, AR., Rose Mary Martin & husband Terry of Mansfield, La., brothers: William Palmer & wife Carolyn of Mansfield, La., Bob Palmer & wife Louise of Mansfield, La., and her best friend Linda Clay. The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers, Pat, Tracey, Diana, Norita, and Sue, the members of the Ore City Church of Christ, and staff at Hearts Way Hospice, especially Violet. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
