Debbie Akins Ferguson DIANA �Services for Debbie Akins Ferguson, 58, of Point, Texas will be at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church, in Diana, with Reverend Tony Pierce officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Walnut Creek Cemetery. She passed away November 19, 2011 in Tyler. Debbie was born June 9, 1953 in Caddo Parrish, LA to Jack and Maggie Akins. She was a retired hairdresser and of the Baptist faith. Debbie never met a stranger and was always willing to help and encourage everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Tommy and Mike Akins, sisters �Puggy� Sholars and Arnina Shumway, and precious grandson Ryan Clay. She is survived by her loving husband: Bobby Reece Ferguson, step-daughters: Donna Bridgefarmer & husband Benny, Bobbie Pat Clay & husband Bubba, sisters: Ann Thorn, Bettie Futch, Beverly Pope, Margaret Fletcher & husband Harry, brother: Henry Akins & wife Regina, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a host of nieces & nephews, friends and loved ones. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011, 6-8 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana
