David W. Willis

Services for David W. Willis, 64, will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at the Open Range Cowboy Church, with Brother Marion Coon officiating. Private interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer with military rites. Mr. Willis passed away on September 7, 2019.
David was born on May 7, 1955, in Pampa, TX, to Williard E. and Helen J. Willis. He was a veteran of the Air Force, having served during Desert Storm, and continued work in aircraft maintenance for American Eagle, after the service, until his retirement.
David is survived by his wife, Kay Willis; mother, Helen Willis; son, Nick Schaeffer and wife, Michele; sister, Cynthia Willis; grandchildren, Lauren Walsh, Liam Schaeffer; and a great granddaughter, Willow Rose Walsh.
