David Jefferson Ingram, born October 3, 1951, in Victoria, Texas, died unexpectedly on August 2, 2014, in Longview, Texas. He was preceded in death by his loving son, Jefferson D. Ingram, his mother, Betty Lou Ingram, and his father, Cecil B. Ingram, all of Longview. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Gwendolyn, and three children: Shak Ingram and friend, Frances Hilshey, Michael J. Moody, and Melloney St. Clair and husband, Frank; five grandchildren: Ashur Ingram, Corban Ingram, Jalin Moody, Ian St. Clair, Drake St. Clair, and his brother James B. Ingram and wife, Kitty, and by many other members of his extended family. He was devoted to his family and a loyal friend, and will be greatly missed by his entire family and the many friends he made during his lifetime. David graduated from Hallsville High School in 1970, after which he graduated from Kilgore College, the University of Texas at Arlington, and the Law School of the University of Houston in May, 1977. He received his Texas Law License on November 11, 1977, and practiced law in Texas since that date. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a. m., August 6, 2014, at Grubbs Loyd Funeral Home, in Diana, Texas.
