Obituary for Charles Patrick Wright

Charles Patrick �Pat� Wright DIANA �Services for Charles Patrick �Pat� Wright, 67, of Harleton will be at 2:00 P.M., August 9, 2015 at Harleton Baptist Church, with Brother Mike Brittain and Brother Craig Evers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Center Cemetery in Harleton. He passed away August 6, 2015 in Dallas. Pat was born July 14, 1948 in Marshall, Texas to Lloyd �Jack� and Pearl Wright. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and earned several medals, including the Purple Heart. Pat attended Harleton Methodist Church and Morton Baptist Church, was a 32 degree Mason and lifetime member of Ashland Masonic Lodge # 1138 and Little Cypress Lodge # 1459 and enjoyed hunting, racing and building hot rods in his spare time. He was owner and machinist at C. Wright�s Machine Tool in Harrison County. Pat is survived by his wife Sharon Wright, parents: Jack and Pearl Wright, sons: Carl Wright and wife Donna, and Brian Wright and wife Julie, brother: Kevin Wright, sister: Linda Wilhelm, grandchildren: Kara Wright, Nicole Wright, Kyle Wright, Hannah Wright and Addison Wright, nieces and nephews: Mikey Blackwood, Mercedes Blackwood, Megan Wright and Kieth Tidwell. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Charlie Wilhelm. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 8, 2015, 5 to 7 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
