Billy G. Hamilton DIANA �Services for Billy G. Hamilton, 74, of Gladewater will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January, 23, 2013 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel, in Diana, with Pastor Joe Turner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harleton. He passed away January 20, 2013 at his home. Billy was born September 10, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to H.E. & Ida Mae Hamilton. He was a Shriner and a charter member of the #1138 Ashland Masonic Lodge and #1459 Little Cypress Masonic Lodge. Billy served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Texas Kenworth in Longview after 20 year and later Jodac Office supply. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Harleton. Billy was an avid hunter and fisherman, a true friend to many and a loving brother, dad and uncle. He also helped raise several of his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife: Olivia Hamilton of Gladewater, sister: Dorothy Harris of Richardson, nieces & spouses: Rhonda & Trent Prewitt of Forney and Melanie & Jeff Robnett of Carrollton, step-daughters & spouses: Rebecca & Ismael Rebio, and April & Aurelio Garcia, step-son: Paul Southard, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Jean Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Little Cypress Masonic Lodge, PO Box 592, Harleton, Tx. 75651. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
