Betty Jo Whisenhunt

Services for Betty Jo Whisenhunt, 89, of Nashville, AR, are scheduled for, 3:00 PM, on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Diana, with Brother Charlie Chancellor officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior at, 2PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Betty passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at her home.

Betty was born on August 18, 1930 in Eufala, Oklahoma to Lewis James and Ellie (Tyson) Knight. She was a home marker that loved spending time with her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her son, Michael Ray Whisenhunt and wife Tammie, daughters; Sherry Shaffer and husband Bobby, Janice Belcher, Kelly Ramon and wife Alison, brother, Elvie Knight, sister, Georgia Faye McCullough, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wiley Elvin Whisenhunt, daughter Brenda Shaffer and husband Jim, brothers; Jerry Knight, Arnold Knight, and sister; Ruby Rose and Ruth Anderson.
