Alvin Lee Skinner, Jr.

Graveside services for Alvin Lee Skinner, Jr., 77, of Gilmer, will be held 3:00 PM Friday, May 10, 2019, at Sunset Memorial Park, with Josh Blizzard officiating. Mr. Skinner passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in Kilgore.
Alvin was born July 18, 1941, in Junction City, Kansas, to Alvin Lee and Frances Louella Skinner. He served in the US Army, and worked for over 50 years at Upshur Rural Electric. He enjoyed his work, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Skinner. Survivors include his sister, Brenda McLaughlin; brother-in-law and wife, Jim and Mary Fannin; nieces, Linda Poulter, Barbara Lacy and numerous nephews and nieces.
