For over 60 years, Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home has been here to serve the community.

Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home has been at its current location since 1954. The original funeral home was started in downtown Gilmer as Loyd-Fike Funeral Home. After the move to its current location, it became known as Loyd Funeral Home. Loyd Funeral Home has served Upshur, and parts of Camp, Wood, Marion, Cass, Gregg, and Smith counties over the years. In the late 80's, Loyd Funeral Home was purchased by Jimmy Grubbs and became Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home.  

In 1999, Grubbs-Loyd opened a funeral Home in Diana to help serve the Eastern portion of the East Texas community.  

Jimmy Grubbs passed away on June 21, 2013, in Gilmer. 

To this day, Todd Stansbury, employee for over 22 years, helps to serve the local community.
