Michael Alan Jake

Graveside services for Mr. Michael A. Jake, 61, of Diana, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer.
Michael was born on November 7, 1955 and he went to be with God on June 21, 2017. He will be missed by family and friends. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed each and every day. God was first in his life and then family and the many friends he made along the way. Michael worked for 27 years with a great group of guys at Crosby Longview. Some of his favorite things to do were hang out with the grandkids, fishing, camping, golfing, motorcycle riding and drag racing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and two brothers.
Left to keep his memory alive are wife, Jean Jake; sons, Larry and his wife Cindy, Joe and his wife Melissa; daughter, Judy; grandsons, Cory, Joel and his wife Hailey, Kyle; granddaughters, Sophie, Sarah and Riley; brothers, Steve and Rich and their wives; two nieces, five nephews and his beloved dog, Rocco.
We will all miss you but know you are at peace in heaven.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 23, 2017, 6-8 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana, Texas.
