Judith Frances Brinkley

Services for Judith Frances Brinkley, 74, of Big Sandy, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Little Mound Baptist Church with Brother Charles Johnson and Brother Michael Phillips officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home. Mrs. Brinkley passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 30, 2018.
Judith was born on April 12, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia, to John W. and Frances N. Waples. She worked for many years, and was best known for being a homemaker to her family and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She Married Morris Brinkley on December 20, 1965, in Lewiston Maine. Mr. and Mrs. Brinkley were faithful members of Little Mound Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Donald Waples, Johnny Waples, Bobby Waples, Buster Waples, Betty Basey; a grandson: Jacub Alen Whitworth; great grandchildren: Archemedus Boston Wilde English and Beau Daniels Cook.
Mrs. Brinkley is survived by her loving husband: Morris Brinkley; children: Robin Roberts, Wes Robertson, Renee Pritchett, and husband, Jimmie, Bonnie Whitworth, Judy Pate; grandchildren: Natalia, Brett, Dwaine, Christopher, Emily, Jack, Brady, Brittany, Jennarose; and greatgrandchildren: Karmen, JoLeigh, Philippa, Tennyson, Cody, Rebecca, Chevy, Max, and Rylee Olivia.
